In 2007 Qudent were commissioned by Dr Bruno Silva to assist in the design and planning of his new Specialist Implant Centre.
Consisting of a 5 story shop front in the centre of Hove. The building was to initially house 4 surgeries and a specialist dental implant theatre in the basement – where a 3 man dental laboratory was also to be housed.
Working closely with the architect and main building contractor, the Qudent team installed the Italian range of Dental Art cabinets and Kavo equipment consisting of four 1058 Chair Packages and a top of the range Kavo E80 System with a centro post configuration to hold the x-ray, screen and microscope. The project was completed in 2008 and The Brighton Implant Centre has become the leading implant clinic on the south coast. Subsequently in 2012 Qudent added 3 more surgeries to the clinic to accommodate Dr Silva’s requirement for more treatment areas in the practice.
During 2009 in order to cope with the continual demand for additional treatment areas, Dr Bruno Silva decided to open a satellite dental practice. Qudent worked with Dr Silva’s architects and building contractors to develop a new clinic on the eastern side of Brighton town centre.
The building was originally a dilapidated doctors surgery, which was stripped back to a basic shell then rebuilt. The dental practice was set up with 3 surgeries, a CT scanner and a decontamination area.
The surgeries were installed with Modwood Monterey cabinets and Belmont dental equipment , consisting of 3 Belmont Cleo chair packages, Belmont PhotX X-rays and a 3D scanner.
The project was completed in 2010 and has been a great success.
Case Study - Bewbush Dental Centre, Crawley
As an old established practice and long standing client of Qudent, Dr Cony Caravotas was looking for a complete refurbishment of her practice both to modernise and ensure compliance to the latest standards.
With 3 busy surgeries and a decontamination area, this was planned over a 12 month period to ensure minimal disruption to the practice.
Using Belmont Equipment and Modwood cabinets, the final result was a great success with another satisfied customer for Qudent.
As a well-established Dental Practice in Midhurst, West Sussex, Carol Mulready wanted to expand her clinic to develop a specialist surgery for implantology and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Mulready chose Qudent to complete the project having originally refitted the main surgery in 2006. The brief was to design and build an additional dental surgery, a separate cosmetic treatment room and a decontamination area to ensure compliance to latest standards.
The project was completed installing Modwood cabinets and Belmont Voyager equipment package. By using the client’s sensitive choice of colours, a very attractive result has been achieved.
